Hey y'all. So I'm looking to build a geodesic dome out of conduit for this year, and I'm wondering whether anyone on here has done this before and can provide some tips+tricks for making this go smoothly; I hear that a hydraulic or electric press for flattening the ends is a biggie, and I can believe it after flattening a few with a hammer myself. Any other dome-builders out there?

He did this very thing two years ago. Yes, the press is a huge help.
I don't know the specifics, but I know he'd be happy to help you, and he's off work on Wednesday.
