Since I have not had the good fortune to meet any of you yet, just wondering what other SVBers might be attending the Scottish Games & Festival in Woodland this weekend or Karfluki in Auburn next weekend. Perhaps we can meet up.

Sat, April 26, 2008 - 8:57 PMWe were there ALL day, and have the sunburns to prove it.. It was Hellish hot... usually, past SavVa Games have been cool and rainish.. this 80 something in an 8 yard kilt is brutal...
but it was ALL worth it when they did masse bands... Ahhhh Yeah.... now that gets the blodd pumpin...
I would have been a "Bare MacLean" if I could have gotten away with it.... LOL!!!
I was at the clan tent off and on, but I did have 4 of my weekins and they didnt like hangin out at the clan tent.. nowhere for em to play really...
so, we had em off watchin the games and playin in the weekin glen...
it was a lovely day for a taste of the homeland.... Damn I miss caledonia...
did anyone go to Ceilidh? I wanted to but the wee ones were beat and were sunburned.. so we came home.. sorry to have miss all of ya.. I would have loved to see ya all...
now off to listen to Dougie MacLean sing Caledonia one more tme before bed.. and to get the sounds of the Wicked Tinkers.. (Whom I LOVE) outta my head so I can sleep.....
