There's a place called JJ's Re-Bar off of Florin-Perkins in South Sac. They supplied me nicely and even put a candy cane hook on the end so I'd be less likely to kill myself in the middle of the night. I highly recommend them.

Re: Great place for re-bar in Sac
Mon, July 21, 2008 - 11:19 PMAs long as you want them to be, and they bent them for free. It was about twenty bucks for, um, I forget how many I got, but at least a dozen. They worked marvelously, except when I missed and hit my thumb when driving them in (user error). Hope it helps ^^.

Re: Great place for re-bar in Sac
Mon, August 11, 2008 - 11:43 PMThanks for the tip! Folks at JJ's were great and easy to deal with. Charged $1.40 per rebar... each are 1/2 inch rebar, 2 feet long plus extra 6 inches for the 180 degree bend. Should be easy to wack these into the playa, and no impailing of burners roaming the dark vastness.
